Light Grey Marble Effect Lampshade

Each shade fitting is supplied with a reducer ring making it suitable for use with standard UK and EU lamp bases or with standard ceiling pendants, please choose your required orientation when adding to you basket. The fittings are in the centre of the lampshade and sit 4cm from the base of the shade for lamps, and 4cm from the top of the shade for ceiling pendants.

The shades will fit the following lamp holder types:

B22 Bayonet Cap Lampholders (UK) Reducer ring fitted
E14 Edison Screw Lampholders (EU) Reducer ring fitted
E27 Edison Screw Lampholders (EU) Reducer ring Removed

Metallic linings can give a luxurious look to your shade. They project a warm glow from the top and bottom of the shade. Please bear in mind that they do not allow much light to pass through the sides of the shade compared to the white lining and the fabric pattern will be less visible.

All Lampshades are handmade to order, carefully packaged and delivered using Royal Mail 2nd class.

We aim to make and dispatch all lampshades within 10 working days from placing an order but often it is much quicker than this. Please allow a further 2-4 days for delivery once dispatched.

Please remember each lampshade is individually handcrafted to order and we ask that you check your measurements carefully. If you are unsure of which size or orientation you need or would like to order a fabric sample we are happy to help, please get in touch via the contact page or emailing

If you would like to return your lampshade please make a request by emailing info@purplecatshandmade.com within 14 days of receipt, this must be done prior to returning and once the request has been made you have a further 14 days to return your lampshade. Returns outside of these time frames and returns of custom made lampshades cannot be accepted.

Lampshades must be returned unused and in brand new condition, ideally in their original packaging. We cannot be held responsible for any damage caused during transit and the condition it arrives in will affect the refund amount. As such, due to the fragile nature of the lampshades, we recommend using a tracked and suitably insured service. The customer is responsible for return postage costs. If the returned lampshade qualifies for a refund this will be processed to your original payment method within 3 working days of receipt.

Each lampshade is lined with flame retardant PVC which is fully compliant with the glow wire tests carried out by The Lighting Association that meets UK standards.

Low energy or LED bulbs are recommended.
